Matthew Alves: Owner//Photographer
Matt’s passion for photography began in childhood when he received his first camera as a gift from his aunt. By the age of 16, he was photographing weddings and events—marking the start of a lifelong career behind the lens.​
Matt lives in South Dartmouth with his wife Sarah. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and spending time on the water.
Sarah Alves: Studio Operations Manager
Sarah manages the day-to-day operations of Westport Studios, handling administrative duties, web design, social media, and editing assistance. She also joins Matt on location when an extra set of hands is needed. Sarah lives in South Dartmouth with her husband Matt, where she is also the owner and full-time operator of The Salty Paw Spa & Woof Wash.
